Kolodny Law is the law firm of David Kolodny, a seasoned, energetic, creative and thoughtful M&A, finance and general corporate lawyer who has practiced law for over 35 years.

David has been a partner at medium and large-sized law firms and worked extensively representing companies, private equity portfolio companies and other parties primarily in connection with middle and smaller market M&A transactions,  secured and other debt financings, equity and convertible financings, general corporate matters and interest rate derivative transactions. David is a business-minded lawyer who understands the financial aspects of transactions, and provides strategic advice to and partners with his clients to help them achieve their business goals.

David has represented parties across a broad variety of industries, including medical device and lifestyle product manufacturers, distributors and retailers, other product manufacturers, staffing companies, automobile lessors, investment managers, beverage product manufacturers, processors and distributors, hedge funds, financing sources and real estate businesses.

David was born in Riverdale, New York, and has lived and worked in New York City throughout his career. He graduated with a BA from The Johns Hopkins University and a JD from the New York University School of Law.
